About Sarah:

Sarah Rodriguez-Beerman, MSW, LCSW is a licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 10 years experience working with children from birth to 18 and their families.  She has experience working in the areas of child development, behavior management, crisis intervention and mental health counseling.  She has worked with familes both in their homes and in an out-patient setting.  She has worked for the last 6 years in one of RI's school districts, assisting students and families meet their mental health, emotional and physical needs.  She has fostered relationships with the community, community mental health agencies and other support networks in the area.  She provides all services in English and in Spanish!

She is also trained as a Nurtured Heart Specialist by Howard Glasser and is committed to the belief that this program is the most effective way to help children and their families overcome the typical difficulties of having an "intense" child. 

Sarah uses this program with her own young children who are flourishing.
